The general terms and conditions of the online store define the purchase and sale conditions of products provided by CALIFORNIA CAMPERS, Gorazd Kunej s.p., located at Vrhovci, cesta IX 7, 1000 Ljubljana (hereinafter referred to as “the Provider”). All prices are listed in EUR and include VAT. We reserve the right to daily price changes unless stated otherwise (e.g., limited-time promotions or discounts). Prices apply at the time of order submission and have no predefined validity in the online store. If an item is out of stock, its price may change, in which case the user will be notified and changes will only apply with their consent.

The sales contract between the Provider and the user is concluded when the Provider confirms the order (the user receives an email with the order status as “in processing”). From this point, all prices and conditions are fixed for both parties.
Discounts, promotional codes, etc., are not cumulative. VAT payers are required to provide their tax number upon registration.

4. Payment Methods

If the user chooses payment by proforma invoice, we will send them an invoice with all necessary details to the email address provided during the order process. Upon receipt of the funds in our business account, the goods will be dispatched to the delivery address specified by the user.
The provider will then issue a final invoice in electronic form and send it to the customer’s email address provided during the order process. This invoice, along with the warranty card, serves as valid proof for claims.
Why do we send invoices electronically?
This is our contribution to environmental sustainability and modern business practices. Our invoices do not contain handwritten signatures but meet all legal requirements and comply with Articles 81 to 84 of the Value Added Tax Act (ZDDV-1).
The user is required to verify the accuracy of the invoice details and notify the provider of any errors within eight days of receipt. Complaints about the accuracy of issued invoices will not be considered after this period.
Payment by Credit Card
Customers can pay immediately in the shopping cart using Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, and BA credit cards.

Purchases in the provider’s online store are not limited to individual customers but are also available to business users.
The purchasing process for businesses is identical to that for individual customers, except that in the first step, you select the “Invoice to Company” option and confirm agreement with the terms of business.
If you wish to receive an invoice for your company, you accept the terms applicable to businesses. The main difference lies in the right to withdraw from the contract: companies, sole proprietors, and other legal entities can return supplied goods under warranty conditions. These entities do not have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a reason, as is the case for consumers (individual customers).

5. Right to Withdraw from Purchase and Return of Goods

The user must return the goods to the company within 14 days of the written notification, bearing the direct costs of return. Returned products must be undamaged and accompanied by a copy of the invoice.

6. Delivery Times and Shipping
All orders from the online store https://www.vwcaliforniacampers.com/ are handled by our logistics partner, GLS.

The delivery times stated alongside product prices are based on supplier estimates. We reserve the right to adjust delivery times if suppliers or manufacturers fail to meet deadlines or if stock runs out.
If delivery of the ordered and paid items is not possible, CALIFORNIA CAMPERS, Gorazd Kunej s.p. is obligated to refund the buyer in full.

7. Return of Damaged Shipments
The provider does not take responsibility for delays or damaged products caused by the delivery service. The customer must immediately inspect the package upon receipt and, in case of any damages, promptly notify the delivery service representative and prepare a complaint report for the damaged shipment with their assistance.
If the package is damaged, contents are missing, or there are signs of tampering, the customer must initiate a complaint process with the goods’ delivery provider (GLS). We will work together to ensure the complaint is resolved as quickly as possible.
8. Warranty
Products purchased from https://www.vwcaliforniacampers.com/ that come with a warranty will have the warranty period specified in the product description. The customer must retain the invoice throughout the warranty period, as it is the sole document for asserting their rights. The warranty period begins on the date of product purchase.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, mechanical damage, lightning strikes, excessive voltage, or product wear. To avoid misunderstandings, both the seller and the customer are obliged to inspect the product and note any mechanical damage upon delivery; in such cases, the product will be replaced. The warranty is valid upon presentation of the invoice and warranty card.

9. Non-conformity of Goods – For purchases from January 26, 2023 (ZVPot-1)

Withdrawal from the sales contract is asserted by a statement notifying the seller of the decision to withdraw. When the consumer withdraws from the contract, they must return the goods to the seller at the seller’s expense.
The right to assert non-conformity is governed by the Consumer Protection Act (ZvPot-1). Matters not regulated by consumer protection laws are subject to provisions of the Obligations Code.
