Camping has always been a part of my life. As a child, I camped with my parents and grandparents, later with friends, and now with my own family. In 2020, my partner and I bought a VW California Beach T6.1 to not only camp and spend time outdoors but also to facilitate quicker movements between locations and explore more beautiful places in our world.

Since we have young children, we initially planned our trips in the spring, summer, and autumn. However, as children grow quickly, we started considering winter trips as well. The idea of a winter trip to Norway prompted us to think about the need for a larger vehicle. A traditional motorhome is not suitable for our style of travel, as it is too large and not agile enough, and the idea of an "apartment" on four wheels does not appeal to us. We still want the essence of our trips to be spending time outdoors, regardless of the season. Therefore, we became interested in larger campervans. Due to our loyalty to the brand, with which we are extremely satisfied and which is synonymous with campervans, we decided on the VW Grand California 600, which has proven to be an ideal vehicle for families with young children.

The next question was what to do with our VW California Beach T6.1. Since we can no longer imagine life without the California, we decided to keep it. Since we can only use one vehicle at a time, we established the family business California Campers. This way, we can introduce others to the charm of traveling with unconventional motorhomes and provide them with similar experiences that we enjoy.
